Privacy policy

Last updated: 14 August 2026

This policy explains what personal data Resiana LLC processes when you visit resiana.com or write to us through the contact form, what we use it for, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

What we collect

Contact form
Your name, email, phone, company and, if you fill it in, the description of your project. Everything except the description is required in order to reply to you.
Technical data
Your IP address and browser details, recorded by our infrastructure provider in order to serve the site and protect it from abuse. Separately, we measure which pages are visited and whether a few specific buttons were used - the demo link, the WhatsApp link and the contact form - so we can tell which pages are worth keeping. We do not record what you type.
Your preferences
Your language and light or dark theme choice, kept in your own browser so the site remembers them. They are not used to identify or follow you.

Who is responsible

Resiana LLC, Sheridan, Sheridan County, Wyoming 82801, United States, is the controller of the data collected through this site. For anything to do with this policy or your data, write to info@resiana.com.

Why we use it, and on what basis

We use what you send through the form only to answer you and to work out whether your project fits a pilot. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR article 6(1)(b)). Technical data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and secure (article 6(1)(f)). We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it to anyone.

Where the form goes

The form does not write to any database. When you submit it, the fields are sent by email to info@resiana.com through Cloudflare's infrastructure and stay in that mailbox. There is no other destination and no copy kept on this website.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails for 12 months after our last exchange with you. If the enquiry turns into a commercial relationship, the data is kept for as long as that relationship lasts and for the retention periods the law requires afterwards.

Who else handles it

Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this site and delivers the form email on our behalf, under a data processing agreement. PostHog processes the visit measurements described below on servers in the European Union. If you choose to use the WhatsApp button, that opens a conversation in WhatsApp and Meta's own privacy policy applies from that point; the link carries a pre-filled message and, if you arrived from a campaign, the name of that campaign source.

Data leaving the EEA

Analytics data stays in the European Union: we use PostHog's EU cloud precisely so it does not travel. Resiana LLC and Cloudflare are established in the United States, so enquiries you send us are handled outside the European Economic Area. Those transfers are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Cookies

We measure visits with PostHog, on its European cloud. It is set up to be as light as we can make it: no analytics cookie, no session recording, no automatic capture of everything you click, and no profile that outlives your visit. Its identifier lives in your browser's session storage and is gone when you close the tab. Alongside it we store your theme and language choices. There are no advertising tags and no third-party trackers on this site.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.

Your rights

Over the data we hold about you, you can ask us to:

Write to info@resiana.com and we will reply within one month. If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to your national data protection authority. In Spain that is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).
